Have just ordered an American poet's - Beth Ann Fennelly's - book of verse entitled,'Unmentionables'after having read her inclusion in the book of sonnets. Her elegant wit, her subversive wordplay and sheer insouciant irreverance is a by: 9.

The book includes a variety: sonnets, drinking songs, ballads, epigrams, etc. I had a hard time reading the ones that were meant to be sung, as I really felt the lack of music.
